本试剂盒提供1根填装3ml蛋白G层析介质的重力预装柱，2瓶100ml的结合/洗杂Buffer和1瓶100ml的洗脱Buffer。不需要再进行填料填装和缓冲液配制。整个纯化流程大约需要30min（主要取决于样品体积和溶液的粘稠性），操作快捷。蛋白G层析介质是用于分离和纯化lgG的亲和层析介质，具体性能见下表。Protein G是一种分离自G Streptococci的细胞壁蛋白，它可通过其Fc片段结合哺乳动物IgG。重组protein G含有高亲和结合位点，减少了非特异性吸附。Protein G和Protein A有不同的lgG结合特性，相比Protein A， Protein G对牛、羊、马等多克隆抗体有更强的结合力，它还可以结合不能与Protein A很好结合的大鼠lgG、人lgG3和小鼠lgG1。
