本品含有两种抗支原体成分，对多种不同的细胞系的支原体污染都有很强的清除功效，并且对正常细胞的生长无影响，其作用机理是通过干扰支原体DNA复制、干扰核糖体的转录来抑制支原体蛋白质的合成来达到清除支原体的目的。
可用实验室以及疫苗生产中所培养细胞的支原体污染的清除及预防。
